Maintenance of the rail passenger information system will be performed from 2-3 May 2017

Published 2.5.2017

The Finnish Transport Agency's system for passenger information and announcement data (MIKU) will undergo significant modification and maintenance operations overnight between Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd of May. This work may result in incomplete passenger information on stations and in platform areas all over the country.

The modification and maintenance work will commence at 01.00 am. The aim is that the new servers will be operational before the start of the commuting traffic on Wednesday morning.

The modification work could still lead to disruptions in the passenger information causing inconveniences to passengers on Wednesday 3rd May. Announcements may be incomplete, the display system may be temporarily down and the screens on train stations and in platform areas may show incorrect information.

In case of disruptions, please visit VR's website and HSL's Journey Planner for real-time and reliable timetable information.
