As an employer

Apply for work

All vacancies of the FTIA are published on the Finnish Government's Shared Services website Valtiolle.fi. The recruiting system requires an electronic verification from applicants by using banking credentials, for example. The verification works as the applicant’s electronic signature, also protecting the sent personal data. The system will guide you to fill the application into a readymade form, the filling of which will require some time from the applicant. The exact format will bring out the applicant’s merits better in the comparisons. It will also speed up the recruiting process.

Interviews

Based on the application material, we will invite the most competent applicants to interviews. These will be held either face to face or through Skype video connection.
We can also set up the first round of interviews by a video tool. The good thing about this is that you may retake the video as many times as you like, and send it to us when you’re satisfied with the end result.

Suitability assessment

In our recruitments, we also often employ a third-party suitability assessment. We always inform of these assessments during our interviews, and ask your willingness to take part.

Security clearance

We commission a security clearance of all the people we hire. This is done by Suojelupoliisi, the Finnish Security Intelligence Service. For more information, please visit their site.
