Punctuality in long distance and commuter traffic

The Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency is actively measuring train punctuality and the performance progress. By measuring train punctuality, action can be taken to address the right issues. The most recent train punctuality statistics are published on this page.

Punctuality thresholds

Long distance passenger train is considered punctual if it is at most 5 minutes behind schedule. A commuter train is considered punctual if it is less than 3 minutes behind schedule.
