The Finnish Transport Agency's web services have been renewed in terms of both content and layout. The services on Tiehallinto.fi, rhk.fi and fma.fi have been merged into one website, liikennevirasto.fi.
Special attention has been paid to make the information easily accessible: The web content can be seen in the site map in the bottom menu or the search button can be used in order to find separate information. Closely related issues are grouped together.
The information on the website is presented from a national angle and concerns: planning of the transport system, maintenance service levels, projects in the planning and implementation phases and the environmental protection and safety measures taken by the Finnish Transport Agency. Local information about road maintenance, for example for a specific road, is provided by the regional Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment.
The most important services for contractors, consultants and other service providers have been compiled into one section, where there is information about any ongoing tendering, valid guidelines and available information material.
The professional transport services’ section is targeted for the use of transport companies, transport operators, merchant shippers and it deals with permits, instructions and guides.
The service is constantly developed and new ideas and feedback is welcome. Contact us!
