Public transport statistics
The purpose of the public transport performance statistics is to generate data on the volumes of domestic passenger transport supply and demand and the impact of the financial investments made by public authorities, which are useful as a basis for transport policy decisions in Finland.
The statistics on domestic passenger transport cover rail transport, buses and coaches, taxis and air transport. Financing only refers to financing of transport services.
